Our Italian language programs
All of the language programs at our Venice school, aside from the Art History course, are available at all levels. Whether you're a total beginner, or looking to build on existing knowledge, our school has a course for you!
Our school's Standard Italian course in Venice offers you 20 Italian lessons each week. On this program, you'll be taught by two teachers, exposing you to different teaching methods. With the Evening Course, you can also take 20 Italian lessons per week, but between the hours of 4:30pm and 8:30pm. This option leaves you with your mornings free to explore the incredible city of Venice!
For a faster pace of learning, take one of the Super-Intensive courses. These courses combine the 20 Italian lessons per week of the Standard Course, with either five or 10 Private Lessons each week. The standard group lessons give you the opportunity to communicate with your fellow students in Italian. Then you can consolidate your learning during Private Lessons, and focus on ways to improve your Italian!
You could choose an Italian course consisting entirely of Private Lessons. Our school will completely tailor the course to suit your needs. You decide how many lessons you would like each week (minimum five), the lesson times and how long you want to study abroad for.
With our school's Art History course, you can delve into the fascinating world of Venetian art while you learn Italian in Venice. Guided tours of museums, churches and other locations will be given in Italian, so you'll need at least an intermediate understanding of the language.
Please contact us if you require any additional information about any of our Italian courses.
Cultural program in Venice, Italy
To help you enjoy and make the most of your time in Venice, our school runs a program of organized cultural and social activities for your free time. Visit the enchanting Jewish Quarter and browse street markets, where you can put your Italian to good use, haggling with the local traders!
Movie-nights at the school will improve your Italian vocabulary and introduce you to some great Italian films! The school's activities package also includes tasting sessions, so you can discover two great Italian passions - food and wine!
Join our school's full-day excursions to further explore northern Italy and the colorful Italian culture. Enjoy a tour of ancient Padua, whose university was founded as early as the 13th century.
